Within 48 hours of payment if no translation work has commenced (i.e., the source material has not been assigned to a translator).
Analysis phase complete (terminology extracted, translator assigned): 15% retained, 85% refunded.
Translation in progress (partial draft complete): percentage retained equals percentage of words translated, rounded up to nearest 10%.
First draft delivered: 65% retained, 35% refunded.
Review/revision commenced: 85% retained, 15% refunded.
Final delivery accepted: No refund (all work delivered).
If you identify genuine translation errors (inaccuracy, mistranslation, omission) after all included revision rounds, we provide one additional free correction round. This must be requested within 14 days of final delivery with specific error annotations.
Certified (sworn) translations that have been sworn before a court cannot be refunded as the legal process is irrevocable. Errors in certified translations are corrected free of charge with a new sworn declaration.
